Over the years, I've been a part of fantastic teams and led the charge on a number of projects -- From branding new companies to launching new processes in an enterprise corporation.I've learned good design has some universal truths, common pitfalls, and collaborative solutions that can be shared across all industries.Now, I'm looking to share that knowledge to help bring great design to everyone.

Empathy-first, we’re all people.
Do no harm, design shouldn’t hurt.
"Perfect” doesn’t exist, don’t chase it.
Gut checks are good. Ask early + often.
Always ask “why” something is important and who it’s important to.

CarMax
Working throughout the purchase journey, I have been a part of multiple new initiative launches and existing product overhauls. Whether it's introducing a new way for customers to find cars in their budget or a new way for associates to find customers in the enterprise database, I'm always aiming to make things better for our users.

Publix
Was a core member of the team tasked with overhauling the visual design system for Publix's mobile application. Afterwards, I focused primarily on the UX of ordering ahead, streamlining the process of customizing subs, cakes, and other deli orders.

Ryan Homes
Working with different team members to learn the inner-workings of the house-building process, I worked on recommendations for improvements in the pre-, during, and post-building processes.

The Kennedy Center / ArtsEdge
I was lucky enough to work on two different educational games. For the first, I helped design the visual language, aesthetic, rulebook, and tangible resources for an educational live-action role-playing exercise. For the second, I worked on creating the game board and player pieces for a tabletop / board game.

iam8bit & Indie MEGABOOTH
Collaborated on event designs for annual and pop-up charity events, art gallery shows, and care instruction inserts for high-quality prints sold online.


Ward Games (WIP)
Currently working on a game with the Ward Games crew, headed by Dylan Ilvento. On this project, I'm working as the User Experience lead, helping determine the flow of users through the core game mechanics. I have previously been a co-host and panelist for some of the Wardcast previous episodes and live events.
